A boutique investment management firm in Sydney's CBD is seeking a Senior EA to support their Managing Director — a principal whose pace, international schedule and board-level stakeholder requirements demand an EA who has operated at this level before, not one who is growing into it.
The role involves complex diary management across multiple time zones, board and investor relations support, and the kind of nuanced judgment that only comes from years of supporting a principal at this seniority. The environment is high-trust, high-performance and deliberately small.
Cultural alignment is the primary brief. Technical competence is assumed.
An EA who has supported a principal at MD or CEO level for at least five years. Someone who has operated in an investment, professional services or legal environment and understands the discretion those environments require.
Someone unintimidated by seniority, comfortable with ambiguity, and genuinely exceptional at the parts of the role that never appear on a job description — the anticipation, the judgment, the discretion.
A principal-level relationship with a previous employer who will speak to the quality of the partnership, not merely the tasks performed.
